Job Description

  • Minor painting and heating associated with repair work (excluding professional spray equipment).
  • Perform a preliminary diagnosis of machinery, component, and system issues (Helpers may not use diagnostic equipment).
  • Minor electrical components, alternators, and ECMs, excluding electric motors, are installed and replaced.
  • Completing service reports as needed
  • As needed, locate and apply service literature and/or technical information.
  • Repair and maintenance of shop equipment and tools.

Unskilled

  • Load and unload components, parts, machinery, and equipment.
  • Perform machine inventories.
  • Inventory storage tanks, shop supplies, and tools.
  • Tanks and settling pits must be kept in good condition.
  • As directed, transport or deliver components and equipment.
  • Equipment, mechanical parts, and components should be cleaned, pressure washed, or otherwise prepared.
